These pictures demonstrate a deck I was asked to build with steps and no railings. The homeowner requested a deck that could seat 6 comfortably, with a built in access panel for the gas meter and a set of steps with a railing on only one side. Given the homeowner’s price range I recommended specific deck dimensions and materials also because of their strict budget the homeowner requested that the railing installation take place at a later date. The job was completed to the homeowner’s satisfaction within the agreed upon timeframe 128 SF in 3 weeks time.
